Cheryl's Thursday Class - Cheryl SchneiderCheryl provides on-going lessons each Thursday (free for those who stay to play at 11:30 a.m.). The lessons cover a full range of intermediate to advanced bidding and play. Currently, the emphasis is on bidding for better partner communication, defensive bidding (when to, when not to) and responses to conventions such as Bergen raises, Jacoby notrump, help suit game/slam tries, responses to Michaels and unusual notrump, etc. |

Upper Arlington Bridge Program - Joyce PennFor the advanced beginner and intermediate-level player, Joyce Penn will help you refine and expand your bridge skills. We will evaluate an opening hand, responses, rebids and competing in an auction, based on the Standard American bidding system. Improve many aspects of your game by learning to use the negative double in various bidding situations. We will cover defense techniques and hand play through a series of pre-structured hands during this 8-week course.
